- Reporting faults and errors: Headline: Mother: Fukushima workers expect to die from radiation; "He told me they have accepted they will all probably die from radiation
sickness in the short term or cancer in the long-term," the mother of a
32-year-old worker said through a translator; Photo caption errors "Workers in radiation protection suits prepare
for the decontamination of two nuclear plant workers exposed to high
radiation at the Fukushima Medical University March 24, 2011."
- Description: Typical example of poor summary collected from NYT, New Scientist, and such which all used "comments posted on the internet and blogs" along with a week-old photo. Headline is rehash of utmost ridiculously twisted comment by "anonymous" source as they copied entire paragraph from FOX News. No journalistic integrity.
Photo caption itself contains two fatal errors: 3 workers that didn't wear proper boots were transferred to Chiba, not two. The workers are not the ones who works on patients, doctors are! The article is dated April 1st and 3 workers were already checked out of the hospital on March 28th JST but no mention of that. April Fool's joke or insulting their own readers??
